The website says that decisions will be released around the third week in March and will continue to be released weekly until all applicants have been notified.

Where did you read that?

[Ask Admissions](http://www.syracuse.edu/futurestudents/undergraduate/askadmissions/Applicants%20for%20F11.html)

Click the link and the first question is “when will I receive my decision” and the answer follows.

Wait a second doesnt SU have Spring Break? How can they send it?

collegeboard.com says they will be start notifying on March 18th on a rolling basis.

How does collegeboard.com knnow when SU sends out decisions?

Supposedly all the colleges send this info to collegeboard. But…I’ve noticed in a number of cases collegeboard will list the admissions letter date as something general, like April 1, whereas when you go to the actual college’s web site, it’s a different, very specific date, often with a specific time of day as well. I’d go by what the college admission web site says, which in the case of Syracuse is the third week of March. We’re in it, but it lasts until Saturday!

my goodness, if that’s the case, then i should stop checking my email everyday and just wait until the 18th to check…=/ it feels like im getting obsessed with checking…sigh

guys, as much as we hope it is coming out this weekend, the admissions office has consistently said recently, “late March, early April.” We have another week or two before we really get to hear back.

@misstrwbrylvr
Right there with ya.

Fridays at 5:00 PM is tradition…and not all responses are “pumped” out on the same day (usually); that may change this year…

spoke with a student in work-study at admissions before spring break…

the weather this winter has created huge havoc in the admissions office both with mail and administrative absences…can’t promise this Friday will be the day, but I can’t imagine that they would wait until March 25th with the admitted student days already schedule for early April…

hi everyone! Im dying to know about SU and I check this thread constantly to see if anyone who posts on this forum has gotten their emails yet!

Besides sharing in the collective stressing I actually have a legitimate question: I recently sent a letter to Syracuse (Saturday) explaining my accomplishments in my state DECA competition (going to nationals!), do you think they will even consider this new piece of info so close to when decisions go out?

To be honest, I don’t think so. Syracuse probably already had the decisions made awhile ago. I’m not sure if they can change their minds if they did receive this information before hand. It’s a possibility and hope they do if possible. I’m dying to know as well and HOPE this Friday is the day.

I hope they take it into consideration, I applied to Newhouse and Whitman and competed in Marketing Communications so it just sort of matched up so nicely. I think I will freak out if friday is not the day. It so much harder to wait now that we know the decision is coming so shortly. Will we recieve financial aid (if we are accepted) with the decisions?

Just wondering, did anyone hear from the honors college?

): yea…
i think i remember from reading the architecture website that the decisions will come out from march 11 to march 18…so hopefully by this friday? =/

hey guys
got my offer on the 2nd of march! though it was conditional at first, they changed the status on the 12th and now it is unconditional.
maybe it came out so early because i am an international student. i have applied to the College of Visual and Performing Arts, Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies
good luck to all youuu and I still havent heard ANYTHING from 7 other places I have applied to. x

are we thinking midnight tonight?

i’m thinking around 5 or 6pm tomorrow evening. :/

Did anyone by any chance hear from the honors college? or be invited to apply to the honors college?
