decline an early decision acceptance offer?

<p>I was curious, so I did, back on 12/23:</p>

Since you accept the Common Application, do you allow applicants to<br>
invoke this provision when necessary: </p>

<p>“Should a student who applies for financial aid not be offered an<br>
award that makes attendance possible, the student may decline the<br>
offer of admission and be released from the Early Decision commitment.”

Yes, this is part of our policy; it has nothing to do with the Common Application per se!
