<p>FlyGirl – hopefully that neat/sloppy question on the roommate choice survey thingy will help you not get a slob for a roommie… but yeah, I’m not worrying about matching stuff w/my roommate’s. If the whole room matches, great, but if not, it gives the distinct sides more personality, huh?</p>
<p>And plus, my side of the room probably isn’t gonna match perfectly anyway. I have a realllllly nice green bedspread, creamy/yellowy sheets/pillows, a light blue blanket and a polkadotted pillow that somehow brings it all together. Plus it’s all RIDICULOUSLY soft. I love it. And then… I’ve got some stuff for my desk (clock, lamp) that, while not the exact same colors as the bed, is really cute and looks fine anyway (it’s kinda the same “tone” of color or something – that’s probably a really specific art word, but hopefully you know what I mean).
And now for the unmatched stuff – posters! I’m just putting up whatever I like (hoping there’s space for my communist propaganda poster + Dylan + Pulp Fiction at least… and hopefully Godfather?), and it’s gonna be way more black&white and moody than the rest of my room. Ohhhhh well. It makes me happy, so I just hope it doesn’t look too bad!</p>
