My theory is that the FAFSA thing is throwing pretty much every admissions office a real wrench. Each admissions cycle is unique… but this one is truly chaotic in terms of the merit/aid situation and how that relates to admissions decisions, timing, and yield. Nobody has experienced anything like this cycle. There’s no precedent.

I’ve found nothing. I think they cleaned it all up after the December release that basically had dead giveaways.

There is still 4 days for stuff to happen before this week is over. I’m personaly thinking it will be a Thursday release. They do say by Mid-Feb and Mid-Feb is the 14th or 15th, so it could happen anytime really. I’m really hoping for the email announcment today.

Right. The admissions counselor said to look out for an email this week regarding the time and date of decisions. Hopefully soon!

For December, they sent out that email on Monday when it came out on Thursday, so maybe if they send today it will be Friday?

We’re in NJ and have a snow day today, so there’s not much to do but overthink about this! Torture!

I think they have made a decsion internally. They just don’t want to share that publicly yet to protect themselves for tech issues and stuff in case they come up.

I’m accepted and I get that error so I wouldn’t read too much into it! There isn’t anything about orientation on the portal for me, although I haven’t paid a deposit yet so maybe it shows up for those that have committed. I have options for different events on campus for admitted student days and an enrollment guide.

Classes start 8/21 and I think move in is more like a week before.

I think the week before the 8/21 start of school, unless you do the Global Start option in which you go to an international country for a week with a group and a professor, then a week on campus. It’s in July so I don’t think the week on campus backs up to move in week. You get 3 credits for it, there is a $750 fee to apply that if accepted gets credited to the rest of the cost. I think the cost is determined by which country you travel to.
