I bet all buttons will be gone in the next hour or so. I’ve read the technical guide for slate, the system that Clemson and most colleges use for their admissions portals (i’m such a nerd lol), and that system can only handle an upload of 6,000 decisions at a time. So they have to split it up somehow and are probably going random this time.

My dtr’s last name begins w C so maybe that why hers disappeared early? Otherwise I could see her being a rejection or waitlist, sad but true.
Last time, those that lost their buttons on Monday got in. Those that lost theirs later in the week, were deferred. We are just overanalyzing again on what they mean. Nicknamed “buttongate.”

Another round of the waiting game will be when you get accepted with a merit scholarship…they were supposed to be announced in late March but now the portal says April!
Those stats are almost identical to my daughter’s and OOS also. Still have buttons. Means you’re in with a full scholarship.
All these folks losing buttons are on the wrong side. We’ll be the ones laughing
