If you look at the CARE program requirements, they lower the normal FSU requirements to reach students that show financial need. No one uses the CARE program as a back door, it is a door that is open to all students. I am very offended by your statements “woefully under-qualified” and “unqualified minority candidates.” Just because someone doesn’t have a 4.0 GPA or higher, does not mean they do not deserve an education from a great university.</p>
