<p>I’m not going to say I’m happy with my deferral, but I know we should feel lucky that we’re considered competitive at a school like Princeton!</p>
<p>I agree that it’s pretty terrible of them to keep so many of us guessing for another 3 months, especially because most of obviously don’t know how to react to getting deferred… I keep changing my mind as to whether it’s a good thing or not.
I second the idea that we come up with a list of DO’s and DON’T’s for being deferred because while I want to show that I’m still willing to fight for my spot, I don’t want to annoy the adcom with a bunch of reports.</p>
<p>Also I’ve heard a rumor about there being different versions of deferral letters… Any truth to that??</p>
