<p>GC told my D to submit an update. He suggested she emphasize that Princeton remains her #1 choice, add a one paragraph description of the mentoring she’s been providing to some middle school track kids (she’s the varsity team captain) as well as a list of accomplishments since Nov 1. My D’s isn’t quite fast enough for track to be used as a hook.</p>
<p>The only kid from her high school admitted to an Ivy league in the last 5 years was a superb basketball player (hook), so this GC has no experience with getting someone into an Ivy. Has anyone else received solid advice?</p>
