Deferred U Mich Ann Arbor Class of 2021

Anyone receive a decision from the School of Kinesiology yet? I’m still waiting for one. In-State, 4.0, 1270 SAT, good ECs and essays.

@koomsbooms17 I don’t really care if they’re a he or a she. But yeah I’d be mad too, it was a bold claim.

@koomsbooms17 Just go in there and corner her

@koomsbooms17 Demand an explanation. Then report back here.

@UofMorMSU I love how there was a 9 min gap in between those two comments

Any chance some regular decisions come out today?

@koomsbooms17 Lmao you should do it

@koomsbooms17 idk, I woke up this morning and saw it. I didn’t check yesterday

@ineedtoknow99 I hope so

@Jive123 Congrats!! Mind if I ask his U/W GPA and ACT?

Oh and I was legacy. Brother currently enrolled and both grandparents went there.

have decisions been going out throughout the course of today? Or if we didn’t hear already should we assume today is not the day?

Has anyone received an acceptance email yet?

@gdcap62 His ACT was 32 composite (36 STEM subscore though); I know UofM recalculated unweighted grades of all applicants, so 3.8+ was a near wash with his actual UW grades. (Other application details - athletics, academics, service in community - probably helped my son get the nod.) Hope this helps…

Ok, so they are releasing COE acceptances. I’m an OOS COE applicant and I’m getting tired of waiting lol

Anyone think decisions could come today? I don’t think I can wait another 2 weeks.

@MichiganFan111 - I don’t know what to tell you. What I do know is that after joking about this seemingly interminable wait for Michigan with my son’s counselor this morning, she told me she was actually amazed it was releasing so many RDs already. She said in past years Michigan has always been among the last to give notice, going right up until April 1, and sometimes passed. So since my son is STILL in the deferred category, we’ll just continue to play the waiting game. Which is better than the crying game.

Do they normally release decisions on a weekend

EA - 7th semester grade request deferral letter
Never had a decision button until today
Accepted LSA!

At least it’s not 2011 (first year of the common app). Notice the date of the article!!
