Deferred U Mich Ann Arbor Class of 2021

@uofmfan - “…fate and our future in their hands…literally.” Seriously? Reality check. YOU have your fate and future in your hands, not Michigan. Michigan is nothing but one single stop on the road to your future self. As is ANY college.

damn this is getting deep af

@monk123 Man, I keep seeing you in every thread (umich, duke, berkeley, princeton). Did we just apply at all of the same places?

@17schroder nah I just lurk on threads of colleges I didn’t apply to

good luck everyone! I am rooting for you all

Guys once we get our decisions, we should all try to get banned from CC #JailbarsforAll

@UofMorMSU I’m down

@uofmhopeful15 Don’t fret. My S’s wolverine access account never had it. Admissions said not to worry and for him confirmed that his application is complete and in process.

Called admissions - decisions will be out at any time, any day.

WTF does that even mean. Today!?

So I’m going to be a bit salty rn… why is it that some students’ parents care more about the admissions decision than their parents? Are there parents looking and worrying about their children’s decisions and not the child himself? If that’s the case, why? It’s just kind of annoying-for me at least- because if the parents care more than the child then isn’t it kind of insensitive that the applicant isn’t withdrawing their application and give others a better chance of getting in?
And I don’t mean any disrespect to some parents. I love that you care this much for your kids. But are they as interested in this school as you? If they are, are they on this page? If not, why not?

One of my friends just got in but i just checked my portal and its the same thing as before.

@mm0499 they prob got in last night on the portal
and just got the email

can’t keep my hopes up can’t keep my hopes up can’t keep my hopes up

If our links disappear today what time do you guys think that’ll happen

@koomsbooms17 exactly. i dont get why parents keep popping up on this thread. yes they care about their child and stuff but if the child itself doesn’t have initiative or feel necessary to come on to this thread - their interest probably isnt as high as what the parents’ interest is.

whats with the “link disappearing” what does that even prove/do? wouldn’t you want to keep your link so you can see your admissions letter in addition to getting the e-mail, or unless you don’t get the e-mail until later on

63 posts. wow. i can’t believe myself.

@uofmfan no lol where have you been through all of this… every time the decisions come out people’s deferrals disappear from their portal and it updates at midnight with the new decision. It’s been that way this entire process

This thread is way more lit than the transfer thread
