Last decision & it’s about to be a rejection…funny that my first decision was also a rejection wow
does anybody know when the umich decisions r coming out for deferred students?

jokes, but I feel ya, I’ll be ending with a rejection too. I’m still going to college though, so it’s all ok!
It would probably be easier to look at the previous page of the thread than having everyone ask the same questions over and over.

When you know you’re going to be rejected, but you keep playing imaginary reactions to an acceptance in your head :)) 
It’s gonna be my son’s last school decision. The best one he got so far is Ohio State Univ with scholarship, if UM accepts him but without scholarship, OSU would only be half cost of UM, we are out of state, so which one you guys would suggest us to take?
@restAllgreen wait three hours, and if he’s accepted then worry about it.
But in general, follow the money. Whatever school is cheaper, and HALF is significant. OSU is a great school (even though I can’t say that as a Michigan fan )
so should I stay up until 12 tonight or nah…

@restAllgreen do you really think that more than half the cost has value at the end of 4 years? What matters is what your son puts into his education. Name alone does not get you a job or make you successful. I have been thru this process 3 times and I can tell you that a school that costs 80,000 more at the end of 4 years is probably not going to get your kid any further in life. The value is not there. We are talking about undergraduate degrees here. Putting one’s self in debt over a name is not worth it.

D is accepted to Columbia and Princeton today. But still waiting to hear from UM…
Son’s link disappeared as well
