Rejected, finally the wait is over. Accepted at UW CoE and OSU CoE with 60K scholarship. Great choices IMO. I hoped with the average international applicants down in state kids would have a better chance.
@0.jc_224 me too, got into Cal and Duke and got waitlisted at michigan and case western. I don’t know how this works.
COE IS waitlist
Has anyone received an email yet?
@JPGator98 I received my admissions email that afternoon
I mean, I know it’s probably pointless, but I sent a LOCI for the waitlist. I just don’t want to not go to Michigan…
Are you guys getting your decisions through email?? Or wolverine access?? I applied in October and I still have not received a decision. Please answer
@Diamond235 Through wolverine access
I denied the waitlist, I don’t have enough time/money to visit cal and umich. Congrats to the people who got in, and good luck to the people on the waitlist!
Just checked wolverine access , still nothing ugh
same, accepted waitlist and now no decision link and can’t see anything saying waitlist, sort of blank now
My S was rejected. (He had been waitlisted and never had a link.) OOS, 3.6 uw, several AP classes; 31 ACT, four year, 3 sport letterman, best buddies/special education volunteer/leader; compelling backstory. He just said no to several including Northeastern. Decision between McGill and BU.
Congrats to all who were accepted to Michigan and elsewhere. Time for the next chapter of your lives…and it’s going to be awesome!
waitlisted to LSA w/ 34 act 3.93 uw gpa… is there any harm in accepting it? i got into two other fairly good schools as well so i’m not heartbroken but i’m definitely upset, michigan was my dream school. what would an appeal letter sound like?
Having gone through this process, it has become more clear what they were looking for in applicants.
While you need strong grades/scores, you also need to be interesting beyond the confines of your own school.
Each of the current college students we met at Campus Day is involved in multiple activities outside the classroom and leading the way in obscure, unusual, and interesting ways. For anyone reading this for 2018 application year, make sure your application reflects this. Wish someone would have told me early on…
Wishing everyone on this forum the best of luck wherever the future takes you.
Go Blue!
that’s mostly true but not necessarily, i have a friend that got in this year that literally only does one extracurricular she is loosely involved in; it is slightly easier in state though
I was a deferred applicant, accepted in early march. I still havent got my Ross decision, even though i applied as a preferred admit. Does anyone have any idea when ross decisions will be out? Its been approximately 3 weeks
also just an observation, it looks like everyone’s who’s heard back today was either waitlisted or rejected, so to those who haven’t, keep your hopes up!
S waitlisted OOS, CoE, 34 ACT, 3.91 uw. Also waitlisted at Tufts, rejected at USC. Accepted REA Notre Dame. First world problems. Best of luck to everyone. Go Irish.
rejected wah
Reeeeejected. See ya Michigan. Wish we could say it’s been fun.
