Still impatient, frustrated, and tired of waiting. Son is deferred from COE, instate, EA. He has a HAIL interview on Sunday afternoon. Why a HAIL interview if his decision is still in limbo??? He has his backup, and we have made a deposit there, but REALLY want his 1st choice (since elementary school…). Just needed to put it out there…I know all of you understand
@danmhow definitely feel your pain…are we hoping for decisions tonight or do we think not? Just wondering what everyone else is thinking
@cram17 Probably not going to be released on a Thursday. The best thing to do is not worry about it. I was consumed by checking my email and refreshing WA from November until my deferral was released and it made the deferral even more crushing.
Honestly there is no way of knowing but it seems like a possibility for midnight. If not, then we just keep waiting.
@APlennox the last two rounds have been released on a Thursday, two weeks ago and 4 weeks ago…they usually have a pattern of releasing every two weeks and for some reason the last two rounds have been on a Thursday…but who knows what they will do at this point, just thought there might be a pattern but they released at midnight the last two rounds and that’s already passed so maybe not this week
@cram17 do you remember the times they were released on the previous Thursday’s?
@brady12345 I’m pretty sure they were released on WA at midnight, as in last night, but not totally sure. In years past they have released them all throughout the day

@danmhow I feel your pain too. My son had his Hail interview on Tuesday night and when they went over his stats, even his interviewer said, “wow, you were deferred with those stats??” We have an older son graduating from the COE in April and he already has a job - he has had the time of his life in Ann Arbor - has been in the marching band for all four years and the hockey pep band too. I want this so badly for son and I swear the waiting is slowly killing me. He has a nice scholarship offer from Clemson and we have a visit scheduled there but until he was deferred, he hadn’t even sent in any other applications!
