I’m 100% sure that’s not the case. They are probably just doing rolling admissions in batches
Link gone; Michigan
@nicke1 Cause they are states with large populations without great instate options? Duh.
Florida- link didn’t disappear
@collegegal993344 It’s not by region.
are the rest of us just gonna have to wait til april like is that it for march?
Well This sucks
well i am from the tristate area and no one that i know from multiple areas links disappeared. I am just waiting to see if someone from my areas link disappeared or not because maybe they are changing and it is by region. Michigan has been very weird this year and not following past trends so who knows.
I still can see the decsion link.
For those who’s links disappeared, what college within Michigan, did you apply for?
Waiting so long for a rejection is bs
I’m from CT- an hour outside of Manhattan. Tons of kids applied from my school. No links disappeared, or any talk of decisions coming out
@DannieNguyen new york has amazing schools like columbia, cornell, etc and princeton and rutgers in new jersey is still pretty good. why is michigan specifically so popular in new york and new jersey compared to other public/private elites
@Eeeee127 Michigan is so popular for people from the tri state area specifically because of its connections to jobs in NYC. most high end job markets in nyc have a michigan connection. Also, a huge jewish population goes to Michigan from the tri-state area (like me). Most tri-staters stick together in frats like Aepi, tke, dke and sororities like aephie, chi O, and SDT. It’s just a big trend
It’s not as popular to go to your state schools in the northeast as it is in the midwest
@Eeeee127 Because those schools are insanely hard to get into. I’m guessing that if people didn’t get into those schools, they would rather go to Michigan than SUNY or Rutgers
@rangersfan800 but why would michigan, a state in the midwest, have a big connections to jobs in nyc? shouldnt the colleges in new york like columbia have better connections because of its closer location? and isnt unc/uva closer to new york than umich so shouldnt they have better connections?
wow the state schools in the northeast are looked so down upon…in michigan, our state schools are better than our privates and 90% of michigan residents stay in state for college because why pay the extra for out of state tuition when u can go to umich or msu for in state tuition
its ironic that unc and uva are harder to get into than umich but umich is overall better academically than both unc and uva.
@Eeeee127 oddly, no. michigan alums are huge in the Nyc finance world. Michigan has always been extremely popular for people from the tri-state area, not sure of the history behind that. Tons of parents in my town went to michigan, tons of kids in my town to go michigan, it’s just very popular and has become a family thing too.
