Being a bilingual teacher is usually in very high demand. Add ell/ESL certification and you’re golden.
How do you know that?
Our local CC offers a post-baccalaureate certification in TESOL. S2 took the classes over several semesters (while working FT), did some student teaching and immediately landed a job overseas. While he’s teaching English for his day job, he is immersing in his second language so he develops better fluency for the kinds of jobs he wants upon his return.
