<p>Congratulations!!! When we sold our last house the new owners showed up early, when we were still finishing the last bit of sweeping up. We were actually able to hand the keys off to them; it was a very sweet moment. We became friends and were always happy to visit and see our own children’s height marks interspersed with their kids’ on the wall.</p>
<p>Congratulations! I’m hoping to sign the refinance papers on our house this afternoon, too.</p>

<p>(I can tell you horror stories about our move to our second house, but that would be a post of *War and Peace *proportions :)). It included a moving target date for the closing, finding “storage” solutions for our pets, two weeks in a hotel, not a single moving truck available due to the booming holiday season (yup, UPS and Fedex used those U-Haul trucks), etc… Because of that experience, I’m allergic to moving :)</p>
