<p>cnp55 - please check your policy. It is a common misconception that employees are covered while driving their vehicles on company business. Typically, the coverage provided businesses only covers the business, and, only in excess of the liability afforded the employee for their vehicle. There are specialized endorsements but they are not typical.</p>

<p>Make sure the Business has a policy that cover the Auto (collision and liability) for your car while the car is in Business use (from the time the employee arrives to when the employee leaves for home).</p>

<p>Otherwise, you need an endorsement on your auto policy to cover business use of the auto.</p>

<p>Calculate earnings net of: insurance, gas, and wear and tear on the car. The IRS mileage rate is around 50 cents a mile.</p>
