<p>For the “Why do you want to go to _____” essay, would it be beneficial to say that you want to chase a girl? It would certainly stand out as an essay topic :p</p>
<p>When Son was applying to schools, I was a afraid he might not be mature enough to go away, so I wanted him to apply to a school 15 minutes from home, as a backup. Turns out the school required two different “Why ___?” essays. Son didn’t end up applying…we didn’t think an essay that said “Because my mother doesn’t think I’ll be mature enough to go away from home” would get him very far.</p>
