To me, you sound plenty capable - a 2.5 with rigorous course-load and lots of work hours is no joke - depression too - seriously, nothing to be embarrassed about. It sounds like you tried to do too much and got some bum advice about where to apply to transfer. As others capture above, you should have included a local and at least one non-impacted CSU on your ap list… if so, one of their doors would probably be open to you now. But you are where you are and you can’t change the past. So, where to from here?
it looks like some of the CSUs have extended their ap deadlines. for specific majors. Click the See Notice text in red to expose the majors and deadlines for each school.

If none of those work for you, the Spring ap deadline is just a few months away. Focus on boosting your GPA - perhaps you can re-take a course you failed over the summer. Pick a couple of non-impacted campuses and give it another shot. The difference between Fall and Spring semesters is just 4 months…
I know several very successful people (including a Sr exec at Disney who earned an MBA and a history Professor, who obviously continued his education) who took a couple of extra years at a CC because they were working a lot of hours. One day, each decided to focus their energy on their coursework, boosted their GPA a little and transferred to a then non-impacted CSU and got on with their lives.
You aren’t trapped and you have nothing to be ashamed of. Navigate this hiccup and get on with your life.
Good luck.
