I attended my last two class reunions. I was never able to go before due to distance/work commitments/ young kids. I found many people who lived out of town made a big effort to be there and a lot of people who stayed there didn’t bother to attend.
At my last reunion, 5 of my closest friends and I had dinner together before the first night of the reunion ( the informal gathering). It was great having that time together.
However the next night, only 3 of us went to the dinner- we were the 3 who had travelled from out of town! My friends who lived there didn’t bother.
