at my school it is dependent on the teacher. i didnt plan accordingly and took it with the guy who only gives on A per term. i got a b+ after getting 5’s on both AB and BC in high school.

Yes, I got a 5.

Skiier, were most people in your class getting B+ and below?

I think York00 means that you can’t always look at a Taylor series and go “ah yes, exp(isin(x^1.5)), we meet again.”

A Taylor series is an approximation of a function by using polynomials. Roughly speaking, if you want to approximate a function that is difficult to work with analytically (taking derivatives, integrals, fitting into a diffy q) then you approximate it as:

hard function=a0+a1x+a2x^2+a3*x^3+… and on and on and on.

I tested out of calculus 1,2,3, and linear algebra. The only math course I’ve taken in college so far is differential equations. I think calculus 3 is easier than calculus 2, and most of the concepts can be found in a high school physics class (at least mine was). You almost don’t even need to study for calculus 3 as it’s super intuitive.
