Did I Choose the Wrong College? [ Help ]

@okradiocomputers If UT Austin weren’t an outstanding state flagship, people here wouldn’t have been in such support. In any case, among outstanding universities, it’s more important how you do and what you do once you’re there and not where you just exist for four years.

With all of that being said, the culture and where you want to spend four years is important too. The Oxford to Emory 2/2 is inherently risky because it is important that you love two different types of experiences and you’re okay with both rural and suburban campuses. It is not for everyone. How could it be? You are right, Emory College took in nobody from their waitlist and yielded better than they thought they would. This will lead to an adjustment in admissions for the class of 2023. If for some reason, you don’t enjoy UT Austin, you should still consider Emory for your sophomore year and beyond.

I don’t see a problem. Oxford is a great school, but so is UT. The difference is about $150k. Britain isn’t exactly known for reasonable living costs either. You made a great choice.

Funny, @coolguy40.
