<p>Well it’s not like I’m sitting on my butt all summer. My research “job” begins the first week of june so hopefully that will be something good to add to my resume. And I went to the career services people at my school and got them to look over my resume. They said it was fine. From what I heard from other students, it’s easier to get an internship if a) you already have experience in the field, or b) you are just going back to work with the same company you worked with last summer. Since I have neither option since I switched to civil engineering in Fall 2009, I’m stuck.</p>
<p>Really? No internship experience at all? And you got a full time job? What company? Can you please tell me how you went about getting the job in your situation?</p>
