<p>I still havent gotten ANY acceptance of any kind. They say they’re STILL reviewing my application. My SAT scores have been up there since like last week too.</p>

Our admission counselors are working as quickly as possible (and drinking a lot of coffee to stay awake and work on your application) to review and assess you application and want you to know that as soon as possible your admission decision will be posted!</p>
<p>Please, don’t forget to check your Alerts for any To-Do’s or messages from your admission counselor on your MyUCR account. You may find something listed there that we still need from you—so make sure you read and act on it NOW so we can finish your application and post your admission decision!</p>
<p>In the meantime, why not come for a tour of our campus?"</p>
<p>Now I’m worried. This definitely has a more negative tone. Note they talk about how many students applied. That’s to make us not feel so bad when we’re rejected. Add to that a dose of guilt – we’re making them stay up late! Then note the omonous reference to a “decision” as opposed to the previous note that said they are posting “acceptances” daily.</p>

<p>I think that’s just a generic message they give to everyone. I wouldn’t be worried…you’ll find out soon enough, I’m sure :)</p>

<p>i got that same message about the coffee last night and it said i got accepted this morning.</p>
<p>i might go to that discover day thing, because you never know you might like the campus. </p>

<p>lol… i would be worried if a frantic caffeinated hyper counselor was looking at my application… lol im just joking. They just need more time to check all the applications out…</p>

<p>Registration for the brunch/luncheon and Department presentations start at 9am.
If you need to spend the night before in the area, there is some big NASCAR thing going on and many of the hotels are sold out (in Ontario at least).</p>

<p>I know I’m being rather selfish about being angry that I still haven’t gotten into UC riverside yet. But I wonder…what am I suppose to feel? How am I suppose to go on with the rest of senior year which is suppose to be the highlight of my career? </p>
<p>What emotion should i express on the graduation stand? That i might not be going to college. </p>
<p>Am I suppose to, as Rudyard Kipling says, “Place all my winnings on a game of pitch and toss, lose and start at my beginnings, and not breath a word about my loss”? </p>
<p>I find that easier said than done. </p>
<p>I feel that, although life moves on, and its not over just because UCR didnt accept me…</p>
<p>but I feel this is a significant turning point </p>
<p>Whether i get in or not, </p>

<p>I’ve gone through so many dark clouds and thunderstorms that This really is THE real thing. The one that places me into the real world. </p>

<p>Everyone is talking about that pop-up thing they received in the mail. I was accepted Feb. 1 but I didn’t get the pop-up thing. What is it anyway? An acceptance letter? Scholarship?</p>
<p>the pop-up thing is an acceptance letter…but instead of being a boring traditional acceptance letter, its a pop-up that tells u more about the school and what it has to offer in programs and stuff…don’t worry so much about it cuz u’ll get it in the mail eventually so look out for it! and SunnyPhan, it’s gonna be okay…riverside will accept you…don’t stress out so much about it…i know a lot of ppl who still don’t know if they’re in or not so you’re not alone…i’m pretty sure u’ll get in…they prolly didnt read ur application yet</p>
<p>I’m right there with you SunnyPhan. No pop up or pleasant message for me either. If they are going to reject me I would rather just know it and move on.</p>

<p>i havent received the pop up thing either!!! i know i was accepted online… but i keep on waiting for the damn thing… it hasnt come yet! i am going insane…! What if they thought twice or made a mistake and wrote the wrong thing on my online account when they mean to reject me!!!</p>

<p>I wonder how they choose who go their results on february 1st or not. Is it by random or by GPA or something?</p>
<p>Most, if not all, of the Regent’s and Chancellor Scholarship acceptees were accepted February 1</p>
