Hilly run in Charlottesville DONE! 6 miles in the bag.

I feel like we are on the countdown with you MOWC - how soon should we get the noisemakers and streamers ready???

Yay MOWC. You’ve been running in some pretty places the last couple of days. Bristol and Charlottesville…

I’m on a workout hiatus for a couple of days as I do some intensive condo cleaning for the holidays.

I have 1983.4 miles. I’m going for 2013 miles.

Getting that party stuff ready… You go MOfWC!

I came across this at Nordie. Apparently, my Lulu hoodie was a real bargain ;)

And prettier, too!

Going back to my slushy mess. Treadmill run tonight!

That’s insane. $575? And, it’s a stupid product. You would only wear down when it’s cold and cotton is a huge no-no in cold weather. One of the basic rules of cold weather activity is no cotton, period.

Here’s my choice for a down jacket in that price range:

Back to it. Next up, kitchen counters and mopping the kitchen floor. I would rather be doing single leg split squats…

Idad, when you’re finished, the mc-compound could use some help. Fortunately, the guests tonight are my closest friends here, so they have very low expectations in terms of my cleaning inclinations. Higher expectations on the entertainment front…so I have to make sure I’m not cranky from too much cleaning :)

I hear ya on the cranky part… Alas, I use holiday guests as an excuse to do some of the major cleaning chores along with actually clearing off table tops and so forth!

It’s not a workout, but it is pretty good exercise.

3.1 mile run at the gym. Part track, part treadmill with intervals.

Hour run yesterday. 45 minutes spinning and 4 x 266 intervals with a dash of core/stretch/strength. Maybe more today in anticipation of family meal/get together tomorrow. Thinking that MOWC should find an alter g and get her miles over with in one session!

Gym today

4.05 mile treadmill run (no alter G available, shucks)

reverse lunges
goblet squats
single leg deadlifts
bicep curls
military press
shrugs
chest press
pushups
tricep kickbacks
rows
pallof press

Ohiopublic- that would be nice! Did 3 miles around the senior living place in Charlottesville before we started the 9 hour drive back to Nashville. It was 51 degrees and now (halfway home) it is 72. We are heading into some really bad weather. WildChild with his brace and crutches is with us. Too much together time in a car for 9 hours… Sick of eating too much and bad food choices.

We could have run together yesterday, MOWC - I was in C’ville too. Or, you could have led the way and I could have followed! No run yesterday, 3.31 today. 70 degrees, brisk wind.

I would have loved to meet up! TV station covered my father’s wedding! nbc29.com for video. I’m in it.

I actually saw that on the news - what a nice story and congratulations to your dad and his new bride.

Awake most of the night listening to winds howl through. Today’s workout will likely be the treadmill.

1992.9 miles for the year. Managed 6.5 today. Ridiculous weather- 60 degrees! I wore a skirt and short sleeved top.

Had a lovely walk.

Today it’s still warm here…we finally raked the last of the very wet leaves and cleaned out the gutters! Only the 2nd day of winter.

And I took a crawl through the basement crawl space to make sure it was dry after the torrential rains yesterday. Crawling on all fours is my favorite thing to do at my age.

I hear you, mommusic. You should have seen me unwinding from the back seat multiple times yesterday on the 10 hour drive. I could barely get in and out of the car, it seemed!

^Ah, but this wasn’t after running 6.5 miles! :D

Love the wedding story, MOWC.

No workout for me. All day football and cooking. Daugher arrived last night and we decorated the Christmas tree.

Back to the game…
