<p>Nope, we’re OOS. We do get the DC Tuition Assistance Grant (max. $10,000), which will bring the cost down close to in-state. If we didn’t get that we’d get the Mizzou Heritage Scholarship (my H is an alum). Even without this little windfall, I think Mizzou compares favorably to OOS tuition at other state universities.</p>
<p>My S would run away from home if I suggested that he take the SAT one more time! He’s taken it twice, he’s almost finished with his college apps, and so he’s close to DONE. It would take a hefty increase in his math score to get it up to 1460 for WW, and I’m not sure that’s possible. The Journalism Scholar program and FIG sound just fine.</p>
<p>Sounds like your D is happy at Mizzou. What is she planning on specializing in? My S would be photojournalism or convergence.</p>
