Would you consider transferring to Queens College, or some other CUNY closer to home? It can’t be good for you as a whole-- academically, socially, even in terms of holding down a part time job-- to spend 3 hours a day (I assume that’s round trip?) commuting.
Or, Plan B: find friends outside of school. Do you work part time? FInd a job that employs other kids your age-- Applebees, TGI FRidays, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chiles-- they all spring to mind.
