DIffusers and Essential Oils

I have a couple of diffusers and use them regularly. I stay away from any heavily marketed oils. One of my top favorite merchants - Costco - recently had a large varietal set of oils. Got those.

I do find certain scent energizing or relaxing.

The ncbi data supports use of peppermint oil for increased energy.

I have two dogs and only use my diffuser in the bedroom for brief periods - at most an hour. That said, the bedroom is off limits to the pooches. I wouldn’t use the diffuser around them.

My D went through a period of using a diffuser. I think she ordered one on Amazon. I gifted her some oils from Sprouts. I made my choices based on some research on different oils that were good for anxiety. She used it around her dogs without a problem. For work she bought a small one that she keeps on her desk. Like a lot of things my D starts she lost interest after a few months.

Diffusers and essential oils made my and my D’s allergies go crazy. We both threw out our diffusers.
