Dippin' Dots ROCK!! Oh and chance

it’s not even “my friend”

No genius can figure out chances when they don’t have a sense of how colleges work…

Actually, it does not. You see, it’s pathetic how so many students on here have to boost their egos by posting great stats and pretending they are clueless. These type know damn well they have a shot.

If your “friend” can’t figure out how college works then maybe she doesn’t belong? Or better yet - why not read up on how to apply?

wow… did you not see five times:
IT’S NOT FRICKING ME

If I had these great stats wouldn’t I want to show them off, according to your strict rule about egos?

oh yeah… sure… applicants are supposed to know EVERYTHING about the admissions process and if they don’t, they’re clearly not right for the school

bob doesn’t know much about how math works so that clearly means he doesn’t belong

You don’t see the irony of someone with great stats who is clueless about how to apply to college? It’s called visit a website, read a book, etc.? Or is your “friend” too buy winning violin competitions to do these activities?

this is amusing_

She should just hope they need a violin in the band everywhere she applies - that would get her in for sure.

Why doesn’t your “friend” use the great resource known as an adviser at her competitive school?

do you notice that the great stats have nothing to do with academics
That’s just like saying, oh, I can skip two years of language or math because I can just read up on it and I’ll immediately get a sense of it.

So large competitive public high schools don’t have any advisers?

quote:
" ‘friend’ "

wow. he still doesn’t get it.

Also - can people not bash posters? This is the “what are my chances” thread. If you don’t want people to “brag” about their stats, don’t come here!

Thanks.

looking at your threads and posts you seem to have a clear expectation of other people and exactly how they should be

you’re the perfect evil lawyer

everything has to “fit together” for you

I’m not “bashing” the poster, I’m “bashing” his “friend.” I’m saying, why doesn’t “she” read some material about applying before having someone else post her resume on a random forum?

Who are you talking to hyejung?

I was talking to wegman

“friend”
“she”

well, why doesn’t everybody? why come here if you think so lowly of these people? no one in this thread section knows much about the admissions process; that’s why they come here.

I appreciate your recommendation of me becoming a lawyer, but I’m not as evil as you think. This is “what are my chances?,” look at the countless other stats of people and draw a conclusion. Most everyone on here is not a college admissions officer. We use the stats available from colleges to evaluate you. It’s really kind of pointless to post so much info. Therefore, it seems like it’s more to feel a sense of accomplishment by “wowing” your peers then it is to know your chances.

haha okay
maybe it’s time to clear things up

You still think this is me; it’s not.
It’s what I want to have achieved by the end of high school.
There’s no “friend” and for the 80 googolth time, it’s not me.
I just wanted to see if what I was aiming for was good enough.
ok? happy little boy? *pat pat

so there’s no showing off for me
