<p>You will see there are an unusually high number of direct entry nursing programs within PA. Along the east coast, most colleges north of Maryland are direct entry, and most colleges in Maryland and points south are 1-3 or 2-2 programs (with some exceptions). There are a few programs that may admit a few students as direct entry or with a commitment to accept them if they are part of an honors program at that college, but then they admit most other students into nursing after a year or two. </p>
<p>If you do some searches on this website, you will see many comments about many of these programs. Just type in nursing and the name of the college into the search box.</p>
