<p>Ok, this has absolutely nothing to do with global warming, but this thread isn’t anymore anyways so I might as well add 2 more cents. I know whoever posted this said it might not be historically accurate, and for this part they’re right:</p>

<p>“The evidence now seems to favour the view that President Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) did know about the impending attack on Pearl Harbor, and that he could have mounted an effective defense.”</p>
<p>Did FDR know Pearl Harbor was vulnerable? Yes. Did he intentionally allow a huge portion of his pacific fleet to be destroyed? No. It’s totally illogical. Surprise or not, a Japanese attack would be war. It would be a complete strategic blunder on his part. </p>
<p>Anyways, just thought I’d share my thoughts.</p>
