discuss your favorite classic novel, or any novel at all

<p>Cheers, I loved Mistry’s A Fine Balance also. Just had my best friend read it before she took off for India. Will see what she says about the two when she returns.</p>

<p>DrDrews… I also never read * A Tree Grows in Brooklyn* until I gave it as a gift to an early teen. Wonderful for that age or ours.</p>

He is truly one of a kind, isn’t he? but I have to admit, I loved the title a thousand times more than the book itself.</p>

<p>Angela’s Ashes by Frank McCourt deserved its award, imo. One of the all-time classic opening paragraphs.</p>
