Disgustingly Bad Freshman Year

^^Some classes are transferable some are not. In order to find out which are you gotta meet up with your counselor and hit up the counselor at UCLA, Berkeley, and Davis.

<p>The classes I took at CSU Chico are the basic GE classes. Is it better to assume they are all transferable or do I need to talk to every UC counselor and ask if they’re transferable?</p>

<p>I think it’ll be best if I retake all of the classes because I plan on going to Grad school where they look at my cumulative GPA. It’ll be better to turn those “F” grades into “A” grades in the long run.</p>

<p>If I get an academic renewal for the classes I failed at CSU Chico and American River, do I need to retake them? Will it help me more in the long run if I retake them?</p>

I would advise you that UCLA and Berkeley are very competitive in terms of Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology majors. The average GPA of those majors for transfers are +3.8. I advise you to get “A’s” in all your classes from now on, avoid C’s at all cost and reduce “B’s” if you can. A friend of mine did not get accepted to either of these schools with 3.3 GPA for Biology. </p>

<p>UC-Davis on the other hand has TAG, so if you meet their minimum TAG requirements like a 3.2 GPA then you will be accepted.</p>

<p>I have no problem putting in the work to get all “A’s”. I’m hoping its enough because I don’t want to push away any opportunities. What I want to know is if there’s anything more I could be doing besides getting better grades, running better, extra curriculum activites, etc.</p>

^ everybody went though that or some, don’t worry, if you planning to retake them, then it is all cool, but when u want to apply for grad school, i think it is hard for you.
