Dishwasher advice

Turkey baster? Works great for a chemist, too. I remember finding one on a lab bench in grad school. When my labmates saw my puzzled look, they laughed - they used it to remove excess water from their ice baths.

I can tell you, being married to a research scientist is probably worse than being one. Luckily, my guy got promoted to a more or less supervisory position, and I convinced him that hired help was something he could practice his supervisory skills with!

do not, DO NOT…DO NOT buy a Fisher Paykel two drawer. We bought one
3 years ago. We had a visits from the repair man a total of 18 times, had both drawers replaced by new units twice and finally (thanks to California lemon laws) GE replaced the monstrosity with a new GE non Fisher Paykel of our choice. We were told repeatadly by various repairmen that they break down chronically. Worst product EVER.

Good advice, musicamusica. I’ve heard that about them. Checking with a repair person for advice would be a good idea prior to buying. Here, one store told me they quit carrying Bosch because they had lots of problems with machines needing repairs and very slow service in shipping parts from the company.
