<p>The extent of our conversations in the bathroom pretty much center around what the guys on my floor find to be an unusual habit of mine. well, I happen to handwash my clothes in the bathtub (before putting them in the washing machine), and the guys act like they’ve never heard of such a thing before. It’s just that I don’t like the idea of my sweaty gym clothes drying without being handwashed in soap, especially if I don’t plan to use the washing machine until days later. the reactions have been pretty funny. Some are fascinated, asking questions about why I do this. Some are weirded out (and I would say amused at the same time). Others don’t really know how to react (as in, someone walked in and said “Oh, I’m sorry… didn’t mean to interrupt” as though what I was doing was some sacred ritual. He didn’t even enter the bathroom upon seeing me there).</p>
