Do colleges look at sat scores for one year transfers?

Occasionally the UCs accept sophomore transfers. You can go here to look:

While transfers do not need the SAT and the UC doesn’t ask for it, I know there are some instances when an SAT score can fulfill a requirement, at least in language. There was a transfer student up here who got the language fulfilled with his SAT score. I don’t know much about it but if that sounds like something similar to your situation reach out to the UC to check the rule. It’s mentioned here:

To transfer as a junior in one year you need a lot of AP scores. But people do successfully do it. They usually start with regular courses in summer so they have about 7 classroom courses by end of fall.

^^ I’m referring only to the UCs. Gumbymom knows about CSUs.
