Do community college classes count as 1 weighted semester or 2?

Even though semester long college level courses can satisfy a year, sometimes more, of the “a-g” requirements, they are never counted for more than a semester of actual coursework. So taking 7 courses, I’m assuming each course is a semester long, would only count as 7 semesters of weighted GPA, again assuming that these courses were taken in the 10 and 11 grades, and only 7 semesters of “a-g” coursework. So if 40 semesters of “a-g” are taken at the high school level your student would have 47 “a-g” courses.
