UCD Admissions, I’ve taken 1 year of high school Spanish at my high school. I have also taken Spanish 1B at the local community college.

On the UC website it states this:
" If the prerequisite for Spanish 1B at a community college is two years of high school Spanish, can it be assumed that Spanish 1A is equivalent to two years of high school Spanish and therefore meets the “e” requirement for freshman applicants?

Yes, if the prerequisite for Spanish 1B is Spanish 1A or two years of high school Spanish, 1A would meet the “e” requirement."

The prerequisite for Spanish 1B at my local CC was 1 year of high school spanish. The prerequisite for Spanish 2A is is Spanish 1B or two years of high school spanish. Is it safe to assume then, that Spanish 1B would fulfill the requirement of 1 more year of high school spanish? My counselor said it should be fine, but I just want to make sure.
