I am a current Hamilton student and I am not in the pre-med program myself, but I have many friends who are. This is a very difficult program at Hamilton, as all pre-med programs are. Once you get into the school, you can discuss with your advisor what the best plan for you is, and you can major in neuroscience, biology, chemistry, etc while taking other courses to prepare you for medical school.

I have al least two friends currently on the pre-med track whose parents are currently doctors. While this does not mean much, these are parents who are doctors that send their kids to Hamilton precisely because it will offer them a liberal arts education while giving them the tools and classes necessary to be a highly competitive candidate for med school.

Also, Hamilton’s $56 million state-of-the-art science center was redone just a few years ago. Like I said, I am not pre-med so I have not been in half of the rooms there, but this building has every kind of lab you can imagine.
