<p>Though keep in mind that the college ED process is totally separate from conservatory admissions – you may get into the college ED but then not get into the con, and you will still have a binding agreement to attend the college.</p>
<p>The Con has an [early</a> review](<a href=“http://new.oberlin.edu/conservatory/admissions/apply/early-review.dot]early”>http://new.oberlin.edu/conservatory/admissions/apply/early-review.dot) program that’s non-binding: you get a decision by mid-December. So if you do want to apply ED, but you don’t want to attend the college unless you’re also accepted to the conservatory, I’d recommend doing early review – then if you’re accepted to the Con, you can apply to the College under the ED2 deadline (which is the beginning of January).</p>
