<p>You don’t need to retake! Those’re excellent scores already. Based on what I’ve read, a 750 (or maybe even a 700) and an 800 make no difference to an admissions officer. As long as you break some implicit threshold (IMO it’s probably 2100) your SATs no longer make a difference. The reason why some colleges emphasize turning down more than half of those who get perfect is probably to look good, but when you look into it, less than 500 (if I remember right) get that score. Your score is fine.</p>
