High school courses do not qualify for any college level course unless they are AP and you pass the exam. Even as a transfer you need to fulfill all requirements. Most major universities will most likely require some foreign language because sociology falls under Arts & Sinces (liberal Arts). I would not base my college decision on the foreign language or elective requirements, but that is just my advice.</p>
