<p>Being turned down is a part of life. You need to get over that since it’s only a rejection. The main issue with your application is the lack of ECs. Nothing stands out, no leadership roles, etc. Severely lacking for HYPM. The Bs and Cs might hurt a bit, but you do at least have a very rigorous schedule (right?). </p>
<p>I’d say you better include other schools. They aren’t hostile to Asians, but having good grades as an Asian is simply not enough. Your essays and recs do play a role in your admission. I’d make sure your essays are as good as can be (memorable, unique, passionate, etc.), but it is a bit late for anything, isn’t it? </p>
<p>Apply to the schools if you want a shot at them, but they’re all high reaches.</p>
