<p>kunfuzed, if you flew west you’d be flying against the jetstream. It’s just like how a flight from L.A. to NY is faster then a flight from NY to L.A.</p>
<p>theres a website (i dont remember it, google it if you want) that calculates where you would end up (if it were possible) if you dug a hole in your backyard. kinda neat- mine would end up somewhere in the middle of the indian ocean…good thing i’ve never tried :)</p>
