Do out of state students get scholarships?

SOC,
I should’ve pointed out that I never include books, expenses and travel as each school uses different estimates for these and since I figure they’re likely to be the same across the board I just leave them out. OK for comparison purposes but it does leave my estimate a little low. Sorry for omitting that detail.

I checked my Spring semester bill and here are actual numbers FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR:

$23,911 Tuition
$5363 Room
$2665 Board
($4240) National Scholars - this increases proportional to tuition increases

($1500) Engineering Excellence (one year only. Similar schols for other majors exist)

$26,199 net

Now the link you’re looking at is for NEXT year’s fees which are, of course, higher. I think its estimate for books is high by a few hundred but personal expenses are about what we spent. Travel is higher than our actual.
