One big exception is in K-12 education. In that case, we advise our students who are applying for teaching jobs to leave some HS info in – not grades or HS part-time jobs, but definitely the school attended (especially if it’s local) and main ECs or achievements (academic achievements if relevant to teaching subject areas). It helps with networking and showing relevant experience for coaching or club advising. Otherwise, college work and activities should replace HS items.
