Do SAT Prep Classes Really Help?

<p>Nooo. I took a kaplan prep course junior year. I learned absolutely nothing useful, it was a complete waste of 1200 dollars. Like the strategies for math were either plugging in numbers or working backwards. Yeah… </p>

<p>Self studying=good. You don’t need to buy the new BB, it only has new 2 or 3 tests. Basically everything on this thread was amazingly helpful. Be sure to read xiggi’s advice if you’re going to self study.</p>
