<p>Forgot to add: in addition to the scholarship route, which looks at your UC GPA and test scores, you can also gain admission by being in the top 4% of your class, regardless of GPA (as long as it is above 2.9), and having met the a-g requirements OR by scoring high enough on the SAT.
