<p>Son received an email from UCSB admissions asking for 1st semester grades in February/March. He faxed them, I believe, and was admitted soon thereafter on the regular admit day for the UCs. They check sometimes, I guess.</p>
<p>So, those of you out there…those grades you are now working on can matter. In some cases they don’t at all.</p>
