<p>Something like 80%+ of people who graduate from Caltech have SURFed, so I wouldn’t necessarily say the percentage of people who want SURFS that get one is significantly lower than the application rate. </p>
<p>I’m not sure what your personal predicament is, spoon, but I haven’t heard of any of my friends not being able to get a SURF when they wanted one. Of course, this is just my personal experience.</p>
